Good Books, Good Food and Good Company

This winter has found me spending a lot of time at home since I just don't have the energy or pain tolerance to be up and about for more than a couple of hours at a time. Luckily I've been surrounded by lots of good books, my little bean while the other kiddos are at school and good food. I've been trying out new recipes and have rediscovered a love for cooking and baking I'd forgotten was there. I think my family wonders what happened!
I've been especially grateful for my youngest who tells me every day that I am beautiful and that he loves me. Heavenly Father sent him as a cheerleader for our family. I've never met someone so optimistic and loving in my life. Today, after several weeks of a rough transition from nursery to Primary, he got up and said a prayer with Dad's help so perfectly and clearly. It was one of those moments as a mother you realize "oh how they've grown."

It's a good thing I am at school today...those treats look great. I think I would give in if I were at home. Hope you feel better soon. PS Love the new room. How exciting
