Best movie ever. I just spent the last two days watching it with my children. Todd even sat down for the last hour or so. I remember in college we used to have movie marathons with the BBC Jane Austen movies. I had forgotten how much I love this one. The change that takes place in Mr. Darcy's character because of making Ms. Bennett's acquaintance. The walks in the forest and beautiful English country side. The gentlemanly manners and the power of true love. Okay and Mr. Darcy, Collin Firth is really perfect at playing his part. The moments they accidentally run into each other...I am and always will be a hopeless romantic and old fashioned. Once again, seeing this was proof I was born in the wrong place and time :)

Such a good movie! Jeff is even coming around to thinking it's good and he does not like Jane Austin.
I totally agree, one of the best movies of all time...I love that it is so long, too. :) It let's you live in the story for that much longer.
Whenever I watch it makes me want to go to England and have such a carefree life. Can you even imagine?!? As I told you before, I have it out and ready to go tomorrow!
My absolute favorite version of "Pride and Prejudice". It's time for me to watch it again. Colin Firth is my favorite.
I have NEVER seen that movie! Maybe I should.
I have it checked out from the library if you want it Tiffany, but let me warn you that it is a good four hours and once you meet Miss Lizzy Benet and Mr Darcy and see the country side...you will want to watch the whole thing!
